To do that, we're closing the data gap that exists in wearables today, gut health and nutrition.

Suna is a wellness wearable for your gut. It listens to your gut around the clock, through sound, and turns what it hears into something you can read every morning. Think of it as the Fitbit for your gut and nutrition. On top of it sits the Oracle, a personal health agent. It joins what the patch hears to the context of your life, what you ate, your calendar, the weather, your email, and talks to you where you already are, on WhatsApp or iMessage. We are a small founding team in London and San Francisco, and we build the device, the models and the app ourselves.

The role

You own the physical object: mechanical design, industrial design and the tooling that turns both into something people wear around the clock.

You may own

Mechanical construction: DFM, DFA, materials and tolerance stacks.

Industrial design: form factor, comfort, look and feel. A device worn on skin has to earn its place there.

Tooling and production: injection moulding, toolmakers, manufacturing partners. You commission tools, you do not just draw them.

The skin interface: adhesives, materials and comfort across days of continuous wear.

The mechanical structures our sensing depends on: cavities, seals and membranes.

You'll fit if

You have shipped a physical consumer product and watched real people drop it, sweat on it and wear it.

You know what a mould tool costs, takes and forgives. Tooling is familiar ground, not a handoff.

Equally fluent in CAD, on a factory floor, and in an argument about a 0.2mm wall thickness.

How we work

Full-time, in person, at our San Francisco office. This role is San Francisco only.

Salary plus equity.

We work a lot (including weekends) and it will never be a strict 9-to-5.

This is not for you if

• No prior interest in health and health tech.
• You are high maintenance.
• You hop jobs. It is a red flag for us.
• You chase big names and vanity metrics over the mission.
• You want a strict 9-to-5. This will never be that.
