Founding Engineer (New Grad, 0-2 Years)

About the Role

Join a small founding engineering team building an AI cybersecurity platform for enterprise environments. You will help develop systems that monitor AI activity and detect or prevent risky behavior in real time.

What You'll Do

• Own features from design through production deployment, delivering directly to enterprise customers.

• Build data infrastructure to ingest high-volume telemetry from endpoint, network, identity, and AI model systems.

• Design real-time detection and policy enforcement for emerging AI agent risks.

• Work with customers during evaluations and deployments, adapting and shipping features as needed.

• Train small models to make fast decisions against behavioral baselines under tight latency requirements.

• Test models and agents for prompt injection, tool misuse, data exposure, and other security failures.

• Help shape the platform architecture and technical direction.

What We're Looking For

• 0-5 years of software engineering experience, including internships, with a focus on backend or full-stack engineering.

• Strong backend and systems fundamentals, including experience with distributed systems, infrastructure, or production deployments.

• Familiarity with Go or Rust, streaming pipelines, real-time data infrastructure, and cloud infrastructure.

• Interest or experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, red teaming, adversarial machine learning, or applied ML.

• Ability to take ownership, work with limited scaffolding, and collaborate directly with customers.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $160,000 to $300,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
