Founding Product Engineer

About the Role

Join an early engineering team building AI-powered tools for clinical research and patient recruitment. You will shape user-facing products end to end, helping research teams connect eligible patients with clinical trials more effectively.

What You'll Do

• Build and improve product features across the frontend, backend, and infrastructure, from design through deployment and customer feedback.

• Develop systems that coordinate AI agents supporting recruitment across multiple clinical trials.

• Build patient-to-trial matching capabilities using detailed profiles and real-world outcomes.

• Scale personalized LLM-powered conversations across voice, SMS, and email.

• Integrate with healthcare systems and tools, including platforms with limited or no public APIs.

What We're Looking For

• One to six years of experience as a software engineer building products for real users.

• Strong full-stack skills and experience working across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, with a track record of owning projects from design through deployment and iteration.

• Experience with TypeScript, Python, Next.js, Terraform, AWS, and Docker.

• Experience as a founder, founding engineer, early-stage engineer, or engineer at a later-stage technology company.

• An undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent fundamentals.

• Healthcare or life sciences technology experience is valuable. Shareable GitHub work or side projects are also welcome.

• Ability to demonstrate core coding skills independently of AI coding tools.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $170,000 to $220,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
