THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE


High Risk Relationships is looking for an Oversight Analyst based out of Unity Place, Milton Keynes.


The role holder reports directly to the High-Risk Relationship Oversight Team Manager and supports the Secretariat Team in the execution and delivery of the High-Risk Relationship (HRR) Forum. The role also provides cross-team support and operational cover for the Re-Entry and Exceptions Teams as required, ensuring continuity of service and effective risk management across the function.

  • Coordinate and support all activities associated with the High-Risk Relationship (HRR) Forum, including agenda management, minute taking, action tracking, reporting, and management information (MI) production.
  • Ensure all forum decisions, outcomes, and supporting rationale are accurately recorded and maintained within Appian.
  • Manage operational workflows and case queues within Appian, ensuring timely completion of activities in line with agreed service levels.
  • Oversee the OBE mailbox and quality tracking processes, responding to queries within SLA and providing feedback and MI to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the maintenance, implementation, and continuous improvement of Secretariat processes, controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Produce, analyse, and present management information to support governance forums, operational oversight, and decision-making.
  • Investigate re-entry prevention matches, recommend high-risk cases for escalation, and support customer account monitoring and blocking activities where required.
  • Collaborate across the Secretariat, Re-Entry, and Exceptions teams to deliver operational objectives, meet SLAs, prioritise workloads, and support wider control function initiatives.

Professional Experience

  • Experience working within Financial Crime, Risk, Controls, Governance or a related Financial Services environment. (Required)
  • Experience managing operational workflows, case management systems or governance processes, with the ability to deliver against agreed SLAs. (Required)
  • Experience producing, analysing and presenting Management Information (MI) to support oversight, reporting and decision-making. (Required)
  • Experience of working within Financial Crime in the Financial Services industry. (Preferred)
  • Experience supporting governance forums, committees or control functions. (Preferred)

Education


  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent professional experience. (Required)
  • Relevant Financial Crime, Risk Management or Compliance qualification. (Preferred)
  • Professional qualifications relating to Financial Services, Governance or Compliance. (Preferred)

Languages

  • English, written and verbal communication skills. (Required)

Hard Skills

  • Knowledge of Financial Crime regulations including Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions, Bribery & Corruption, and Tax Evasion controls. (Required)
  • Working knowledge of financial crime frameworks, policies and procedures. (Required)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills. (Required)
  • Experience using workflow and case management tools such as Appian. (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of Client Due Diligence processes within Retail and Business Banking. (Preferred)

Soft Skills

  • Great written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders. (Required)
  • Great organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. (Required)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. (Required)
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build effective working relationships. (Required)
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify and implement process enhancements. (Preferred)

Salary Range:


£37,762.00 - £56,642.00 per annum (depending on experience)This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week.
