Investment Analyst/Associate - EU Semiconductors

A growing fundamental long/short equity investment firm is looking to hire an Equity Analyst focused on European Semiconductor Equipment.

The role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative, entrepreneurial investment team with a strong emphasis on fundamental research, detailed financial modelling and disciplined risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on European semiconductor equipment companies.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, including earnings forecasts and valuation analysis.
• Develop differentiated investment views through company, industry and competitive analysis.
• Monitor earnings, industry developments and key business drivers to identify investment opportunities.
• Present investment recommendations supported by rigorous research and analytical work.

Requirements

• Experience in equity research, ideally within a fundamental long/short equity hedge fund or relevant sell-side research team.
• Strong knowledge of European semiconductor equipment companies and the broader industry.
• Excellent financial modelling, valuation and fundamental research skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and investment judgement.
• A proactive, adaptable mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The team is open to candidates at Analyst or Associate level, depending on experience and strength of fit. Visa sponsorship may be available for suitable candidates.
