Junior Technician cum driver - Generator Rental Operations

The Client is seeking a motivated and technically inclined Junior Technical Assistant to join their Generator Rental Operations team. The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, possess a valid UAE Driving License, and be willing to work at various site locations to support generator rental operations. Basic technical knowledge of diesel generators will be an added advantage. The candidate should be responsible, adaptable and willing to assist with day-to-day technical and operational activities.

​Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day operations related to generator rentals at various site locations.
• Support the technical team in the installation, operation, and basic maintenance of diesel generators.
• Assist in inspecting generators and related equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
• Support the loading, unloading, transportation, and positioning of generator equipment at client sites.
• Assist technicians with basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance activities.
• Monitor generator operating conditions and report any technical issues or abnormalities to the concerned team.
• Coordinate with site personnel and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of rental operations.
• Assist in the preparation, deployment, and collection of generators and related accessories.
• Follow all company safety procedures and site regulations while carrying out assigned duties.
• Maintain proper handling of tools, equipment, and other operational materials.
• Be willing to travel to different project and site locations as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Must have successfully cleared all subjects with no pending backlogs.
• Valid Driving Licence.
• Basic technical knowledge of diesel generators will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to work at different site locations and assist with generator rental operations.
• Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a hands-on approach to work.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in site-based environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of diesel generators, generator components, and operating principles.
• Familiarity with basic electrical and mechanical maintenance activities.
• Understanding of equipment handling and site safety procedures.
• Previous exposure to generator rental operations or equipment maintenance will be an advantage.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Basic Salary: AED 2,000 per month.
• Accommodation Allowance: AED 500 per month.
• Total Monthly Package: AED 2,500.
• Employment Visa: Provided by the company.
• Health Insurance: Provided annually by the company.
• Flight Ticket Allowance: AED 1,200 upon completion of two years of continuous service.

• Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
• Morning Tea Break: 30 minutes.
• Lunch Break: 1 hour.
• Evening Tea Break: 30 minutes.
• Weekly Off: Sunday
