What You'll Do
Design singulation, conveyance, and material handling systems to deliver scrap to sensors at precise positions and speeds.

Manage tolerance stack-ups, GD&T, design for manufacturing, and fabrication drawing packages while coordinating with vendors and machine shops.
Lead equipment installation, commissioning, testing, and field improvements.
Develop throughput and uptime models, facility layouts, line balancing plans, and maintenance access strategies.

A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
Experience owning mechanical or electromechanical systems from design through build, testing, and commissioning, including on-site installation work and equipment travel.
Proficiency with CAD, SolidWorks, GD&T, and released drawing packages.
Familiarity with material handling, servo and pneumatic actuation, PLCs, FMEA, structural or vibration analysis, and tolerance stack-ups.
Experience building and iterating hardware in factory, lab, or field settings, and coordinating vendors or machine shops.
