Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for coating, painting, or finishing using sandblasting or shot blasting techniques Operate and maintain sand/shot blasting equipment safely and efficiently Remove rust, old paint, and other contaminants from metal surfaces Ensure consistent surface preparation to meet quality standards Monitor equipment performance and perform routine maintenance Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations on site Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to meet project requirements Requirements Proven experience as a Sand / Shot Blaster or in a similar surface preparation role Knowledge of operating abrasive blasting equipment safely Understanding of surface preparation standards for coatings and finishes Physically fit and able to work in demanding site conditions Attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to relocate to the UK or Ireland for employment Language Requirement (Mandatory) As part of the visa and employment requirements: Candidates must hold a valid UKVI IELTS (Academic or General Training) A minimum score of 5.5 in each section (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking) is required Additional Information This application is for inclusion in a candidate pool only Shortlisted candidates will be contacted when suitable roles become available Visa sponsorship will be available depending on the employer and role Department APPLICANT POOL Locations Northern Ireland Job Type International
