About the Role

At Rapidus, we are developing and manufacturing advanced 2nm logic semiconductors, a technology that has not yet been commercialized in Japan. Mass production is scheduled to begin in 2027.

As we build the next generation of semiconductor technology, we are looking to welcome talented early-career professionals who can grow with us over the long term and help pass today's expertise on to future generations.

Responsibilities

We are hiring for technical positions related to advanced semiconductor packaging (back-end processes):

1. Semiconductor Package Development Engineer

Develop next-generation semiconductor packaging technologies and processes.

Contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge back-end semiconductor manufacturing

technologies.

2. Semiconductor Package Design Engineer

Design advanced semiconductor packages for next-generation devices.

Support the development and optimization of innovative packaging solutions.

Required

Degree from a Technical College (KOSEN) or University in:

• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

Preferred

• Experience working for a semiconductor company or semiconductor equipment manufacturer within the past three years.

Nice to Have

• TOEIC score of 600 or above
• Business-level Japanese language proficiency
