Software Engineer

About the Role

Join a small engineering team at an early-stage biotechnology software company building tools for clinical trials and immune system research. You will develop software that helps scientists manage lab workflows and analyze complex cytometry data.

What You'll Do

• Build full-stack product features, including customer-facing trial dashboards, sample notifications, and data visualization improvements.

• Apply machine learning techniques to automate boundary detection of cancer cells in cytometry data.

• Automate lab workflows from sample preparation through data analysis.

• Ship reliable production software for use in clinical trials.

• Work directly with scientists and clients to understand needs and contribute to product development.

What We're Looking For

• Two to five years of full-stack software engineering experience, with proficiency in Python.

• Experience building production software for real users at a quality-focused company, with evidence of measurable impact.

• Experience with React and TypeScript, and at least one cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• A track record of shipping products, ideally including customer-facing dashboards or data visualization tools.

• Experience working with large or complex datasets; scientific domains such as genomics, imaging, climate, or cytometry are relevant.

• Strong engineering fundamentals and a demonstrated ability to deliver reliable software.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $90,000 to $185,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.
