Sourcing & Product Manager

About the role

Matajer AI runs a large e-commerce platform (landing pages, quick stores and an in-house ERP). We need one person who owns the question "what do we sell?" You will find and evaluate products and suppliers, negotiate prices, and hand clean product files to our team so stores and pages can be built quickly.

Responsibilities

- Source new products and suppliers from local markets and online channels, and visit markets and suppliers when needed.

- Photograph products and prepare a standard product file: photos, supplier name, wholesale price, minimum quantity, stock and contact details.

- Review current products and negotiate better prices and terms with suppliers.

- Decide which products to test, continue or stop, based on cost, margin and sales results.

- Track new products and market trends and report results regularly.

- Work with our team and AI tools to turn approved products into stores and pages.

Requirements

- Currently living in the UAE and able to start immediately.

- Valid UAE driving licence.

- Proven experience in purchasing, sourcing, suppliers and price negotiation.

- Strong communication and public-relations skills, and a professional way of speaking with suppliers.

- Good computer skills (Excel, email, file management, web systems).

- Good commercial sense: able to calculate cost, margin and profit.

- Arabic and English; Hindi/Urdu is an advantage.

- Comfortable using AI tools is an advantage.
