Accountant

Job Title: Remote Accountant (UK-Based Clients) Location: Remote (Pakistan) Working Hours: UK Business Hours Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team remotely, supporting UK-based clients. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, taxation, and compliance requirements, along with hands-on experience using leading accounting software. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit statutory accounts from source records Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UK regulations Manage payroll processing, including calculations and submissions Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting Handle bookkeeping and reconciliations (bank, supplier, customer) Assist with tax computations and compliance requirements Communicate with clients to gather financial information and resolve queries Ensure adherence to UK accounting standards and deadlines Requirements ACCA Affiliate (mandatory) Proven experience working with UK-based clients or UK accounting systems Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and taxation Ability to prepare accounts independently from source records Experience in VAT returns and payroll processing Technical Skills Proficiency in: Xero QuickBooks IRIS Software VT Accounting Soft Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work independently in a remote environment Good time management and ability to meet deadlines What We Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) Remote working flexibility Opportunity to work with UK-based clients and gain international exposure Professional growth and development opportunities Note: This is a fully remote position requiring availability during UK working hours.
