Application Support Analyst

Role Description This is a part-time remote role, supporting TOMCo’s operational and maintenance activities for its cogeneration and desalination plants. The role involves collaborating with on-site teams to review operational data, prepare reports, and support documentation for procedures, maintenance plans, and performance tracking. The individual will assist in coordinating schedules, updating digital records, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in reliability, safety, and efficiency. Regular virtual meetings and structured communication with plant supervisors and technical staff will be expected to ensure alignment with operational priorities and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and documentation skills, including the ability to interpret technical data and prepare clear reports and procedures.
• Proficiency with digital tools and office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, presentation software) for remote collaboration and record keeping.
• Knowledge or exposure to power generation, industrial utilities, or desalination operations is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural, cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Relevant technical or engineering education (e.g., mechanical, electrical, chemical, or industrial engineering) or equivalent experience in an industrial environment is an asset.
