A major international insurance and financial services organization operating in more than 40 markets worldwide. Its business spans insurance, employee benefits, retirement solutions, and asset management. The role sits within a Data Science and Advanced Analytics team supporting enterprise data and AI initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements from Japanese business stakeholders and translate business challenges into analytical use cases, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate data analytics, predictive modeling, and AI/ML initiatives from discovery through testing, deployment, and business adoption.
• Work with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and platform teams to validate data, refine solutions, and coordinate implementation, using working knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Coordinate model validation, deployment, and monitoring, while supporting data quality, privacy, and responsible AI practices.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, dependencies, risks, UAT, and stakeholder expectations.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, Data Analytics, Data Science delivery, or IT consulting.
• Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and coordinating end-to-end analytics or AI/ML delivery.
• Strong understanding of machine learning, predictive analytics, and AI/ML development lifecycles.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python, plus experience with Azure or equivalent cloud data platforms.
• Understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data quality.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools, and familiarity with MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring.
• Japanese: Advanced (N1 level).
• English: High Intermediate or above.

Working Hours:

9:00–18:00 (Mon–Fri)

Working Style:

Hybrid — 3 days WFH / 2 days in the office

Employment Type:

Gyomu-Itaku Contract — Initial 12-month contract, with extension possible

Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays, Paid Holidays, and other applicable holidays.
