Billing & AR Specialist

Role Summary
We are hiring a Billing & AR Specialist to work full time with one of our U.S. healthcare clients. You will prepare and submit claims, manage accounts receivable, follow up on unpaid and denied claims, and keep billing records accurate and up to date. This role is a great fit if you like working through complex payer processes, staying organized across a high volume of accounts, and seeing your follow-up turn into collected revenue.

Outsentia Health is a separate brand serving independent and physician-owned medical and dental practices with HIPAA-certified remote staff. Our talent is office-based in Pakistan, Colombia, and other South Asia and LatAm markets. You will work from our office in Pakistan as a dedicated, full-time member of the client's team.

What You'll Own

Billing & Claims

• Prepare and submit accurate claims and invoices to payers and clients
• Verify eligibility, benefits, coverage, and required authorizations
• Track authorization periods and flag upcoming expirations or coverage changes
• Post payments to the correct accounts and invoices

Accounts Receivable & Collections

• Work unpaid, rejected, and denied claims through correction, resubmission, and appeal
• Follow up with insurers, government payers, and clients on outstanding balances
• Monitor AR aging and chase past-due balances
• Resolve payment discrepancies and underpayments
• Maintain billing records and prepare aging, collection, and payment reports

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of U.S. medical billing experience with Medicaid and commercial payer experience
• Private duty nursing or home health billing preferred
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Clear written and spoken English
• Comfortable with Microsoft 365, Teams, and Excel
• Willing to complete HIPAA training before starting
• Hybrid, 3 days per week in office, 2 days remote
• Reports to the Operations Manager, with approvals from your U.S. finance lead

Preferred Qualifications

• Private duty nursing or home health billing background
• Experience with Medicaid waiver programs
• Experience using AI tools to speed up billing work
