Senior Category Manager – Fashion - English (UAE) 🎬 The Role As the Senior Category Manager for Fashion, you will scale the pre-owned luxury, hypewear, and off-price apparel verticals across the UAE market. You will leverage your deep subject-matter expertise and existing regional network to lead seller acquisition, onboarding, and ongoing seller success. This role requires an entrepreneurial leader who can manage end-to-end marketplace operations, drive continuous category growth, foster community building, and maintain full commercial accountability by owning category KPIs and the P&L. 👤 The Responsibilities Serve as the primary subject-matter expert with deep knowledge of the fashion landscape, specializing in authenticated pre-owned luxury, streetwear/hypewear drops, premium apparel, accessories, and off-price retail dynamics. Identify, map out, and execute seller acquisition and onboarding for the right partners in the UAE, targeting luxury consignment boutiques, certified vintage dealers, authorized off-price distributors, hypewear resellers, and independent fashion brands. Fuel seller success by teaching fashion sellers and creators how to run high-converting livestreams, coaching them on styling, live authentication walkthroughs, product drops, bundling, pricing, and engaging hosting techniques. Manage day-to-day marketplace operations and serve as a trusted partner for your seller portfolio, working hand-in-hand with internal product, authentication, and marketing teams to turn seller feedback into platform wins. Oversee category growth and community building initiatives by orchestrating sneaker/hype drop shows, luxury vintage auctions, creator collaborations, and targeted fashion marketing campaigns. Maintain active community and event presence , keeping a pulse on the local streetwear, sneakerhead, and luxury fashion scene, consumer trends, and attending key regional fashion activations and pop-ups. Take complete business ownership of the vertical by measuring performance, owning category KPIs and the P&L, and iterating on operational strategies. 🎓 The Skills & Competencies Full professional fluency in English — Arabic fluency is preferred. 3+ years of experience in the fashion industry as a buyer, category manager, luxury reseller, consignment manager, or through a prominent creator/affiliate background in fashion. Comprehensive industry literacy , knowing luxury brand authentication standards, hypewear release cycles, price points, regional off-price supply chains, and key market stakeholders. Established, warm relationships with luxury consignment stores, sneaker boutiques, off-price fashion distributors, or fashion retailers in the UAE market. Strong project management skills with the ability to balance and scale both sides of a digital marketplace. ⭐ The Differentiators Prior experience working within a fashion e-commerce marketplace, luxury resale platform, or creator-focused platform.
