Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Pak Palestine ForumRole Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing all financial activities of Pak Palestine Forum and its Save Gaza Campaign initiatives. The CFO will develop and manage budgets, monitor cash flow, and ensure accurate, timely preparation of financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders and external partners. Daily tasks include reviewing expenditures, advising on resource allocation, maintaining robust internal controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and organizational policies. The CFO will collaborate with leadership to support strategic decision-making, manage financial risk, and provide clear financial insights that strengthen the Forum’s sustainability and impact. The role also involves setting up and maintaining financial processes and systems suitable for a civil society organization operating with transparency and accountability.
Qualifications
- Strong finance and financial planning skills, with the ability to develop budgets, manage cash flow, and support long-term financial strategy.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements, with solid knowledge of financial reporting standards and best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Experience in nonprofit or civil society financial management, including grant or donor fund oversight, is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with remote work, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage part-time responsibilities effectively.
- High ethical standards, commitment to transparency, and alignment with humanitarian and peace-focused values.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA) or equivalent experience is an advantage.
