Job Description This is a remote position. The Opportunity: At Pentoz, we are driving digital commerce transformation through powerful, scalable platforms tailored for modern retailers and service providers. As a CS-Cart Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance, multi-vendor eCommerce websites using the CS-Cart framework. This role will place you at the heart of digital product development, helping clients launch customized storefronts, improve UX, and integrate powerful features for seamless operations. You’ll work with a global team to deliver marketplace and single-vendor solutions that support business goals, improve user journeys, and drive measurable results. You Will Be Responsible For: Platform Customization: Developing and customizing eCommerce websites using CS-Cart (both Multi-Vendor and standard editions). Module Development: Creating custom add-ons and plugins based on business requirements, using PHP, JavaScript, and CS-Cart architecture. Theme Implementation: Integrating, customizing, or developing themes to deliver responsive and optimized UI across devices. API Integration: Connecting CS-Cart with third-party tools including payment gateways, shipping APIs, CRM/ERP systems, and analytics platforms. Performance Optimization: Enhancing site performance through clean code, caching strategies, and database tuning. Ongoing Maintenance: Managing bug fixes, version upgrades, security patches, and platform enhancements. Team Collaboration: Working closely with designers, QA, project managers, and clients to ensure on-time and on-spec delivery of eCommerce solutions. This Role Is For You If: You have 2–5 years of hands-on experience with CS-Cart development. You are proficient in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You have experience with Smarty templating and MVC frameworks. You are familiar with CS-Cart add-on architecture and API structure. You understand the key components of an eCommerce system—product management, checkout, order handling, and user roles. You are capable of handling projects independently and collaborating in agile, distributed teams. Bonus Points If You Have: Experience with CS-Cart Multi-Vendor version and building marketplace functionality. Knowledge of mobile optimization, PWA, or headless eCommerce. Familiarity with Git, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines. Worked on complex integrations such as real-time inventory, subscription billing, or multilingual storefronts. Exposure to SEO, Google Tag Manager, or structured data integration.
