Estimation Manager

Role Description The Estimation Manager will oversee cost estimation for villas and apartment construction, including reviewing architectural and engineering drawings to prepare accurate material, labor, and time estimates. This part-time, remote role involves coordinating with project managers, procurement teams, and finance to validate budgets and align estimates with project goals. The Estimation Manager will develop and maintain estimation templates, cost databases, and benchmarks to ensure consistency and transparency. Daily responsibilities include analyzing contractor and supplier quotations, identifying cost-saving opportunities, forecasting project financials, and preparing clear estimation reports for management. The role also requires monitoring actual project costs versus estimates and recommending adjustments to improve future projections.

Qualifications

• Strong estimation and cost analysis skills in residential construction or real estate development, with the ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with estimation and project management tools (e.g., Excel, cost management software) and solid numerical and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and local market pricing, preferably within Pakistan’s real estate sector.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work remotely with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects on a part-time schedule while meeting deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Prior experience as an Estimation Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, or Estimation Manager in housing or mixed-use developments is preferred.
