MEP Manager

Role Description The MEP Manager at Centro de Direito Bancário (CDB/USP) will oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) planning and coordination for academic and institutional projects in a part-time, remote capacity. This role includes managing MEP design reviews, ensuring integration of MEP systems with project requirements, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues. The MEP Manager will prepare and assess technical documentation, support procurement decisions related to MEP components, and monitor project progress against quality, budget, and schedule objectives. Day-to-day activities involve virtual meetings, documentation control, risk identification, and providing clear guidance to project teams to maintain compliance with applicable standards and best practices.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) and MEP Coordination.
• Candidates should possess practical knowledge in Plumbing and MEP Design.
• Candidates should possess experience in Procurement related to MEP materials, equipment, and services.
• Candidates should possess the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and building codes.
• Candidates should possess effective communication, stakeholder management, and remote collaboration skills.
• Candidates should possess proven experience in managing MEP aspects of construction or facility projects, preferably in institutional or educational settings.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management abilities suitable for part-time remote work.
• Candidates should possess a relevant technical degree or equivalent professional experience in engineering, building services, or a related discipline.
