💼 Interim Opportunity

A local authority in the North of England is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to support its Adult Social Care finance function during a period of sustained demand.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing finance team and play a key role in supporting one of the council's largest and most complex service areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities across Adult Social Care services.
• Provide financial support, advice and challenge to senior operational stakeholders.
• Monitor financial performance, identifying key risks, pressures and opportunities.
• Support the delivery of savings plans and service transformation initiatives.

About You

• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Experience working within a local authority finance environment.
• Ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Previous experience supporting Adult Social Care, People Services or demand-led budgets would be advantageous.
