Finance Specialist

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Finance Specialist. The Finance Specialist will manage and analyze financial data, prepare and review financial statements, and support accounting entries related to PG Technology’s robotics and automotive projects. Daily tasks include monitoring expenses and revenues, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, reconciling accounts, and providing clear financial reports to management. The role will also involve collaborating with project teams to evaluate the financial impact of new services, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and suggesting improvements to financial processes. The Finance Specialist is expected to work independently, communicate proactively, and maintain accurate records that support informed business decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
• Solid finance knowledge, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports.
• Accounting skills, including general ledger management and account reconciliation.
• Effective communication skills for explaining financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience with spreadsheet tools and financial software (e.g., Excel, accounting systems).
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a remote setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in technology, manufacturing, or automotive sectors is an advantage.
