Job Title: Head, Cloud Technical Sector: IT Services Work Mode: Hybrid Location: Victoria Island Job Purpose The Head, Cloud Technical will oversee the entire Technical Department of Cybercloud, combining deep technical expertise with strong leadership to deliver secure, efficient, and cost-effective cloud solutions. This role drives the companys cloud strategy, manages infrastructure, ensures compliance, leads migrations, optimizes costs, and builds high-performing teams to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead the engineering team in identifying, designing, and implementing optimal cloud-based solutions for Cybercloud. Develop and execute cloud strategies, roadmaps, and architectures aligned with business goals. Manage the planning, design, development, and deployment of cloud solutions, including upgrades and daily operations. Oversee infrastructure maintenance and ensure operational excellence across systems, servers, storage, and networks. Ensure compliance with security protocols, governance frameworks, and international best practices. Lead cloud migration and deployment projects, including Data Center initiatives. Manage vendor/service provider relationships (CSPs, Rack Centre, Veeam, Broadcom, WebPro for WaaS) to ensure optimal delivery and ROI. Implement cost optimization strategies for cloud computing and technical operations. Establish geographically redundant services to support business continuity. Support DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline implementation. Lead team training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to stay current with new technologies and industry trends. Foster a research-driven culture to drive innovation and process improvement. Conduct technical presentations for stakeholders, simplifying complex concepts. Recommend and implement strategies to streamline systems for efficiency and performance. Maintain high technical quality standards through quality control and assurance processes. Apply advanced problem-solving, troubleshooting, networking, and negotiation skills to proactively address challenges. Required Qualifications & Certifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Cloud certifications (VMware, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect). ITIL, PMP, or Agile certifications. Minimum 10 years relevant management/leadership experience. Minimum 7 years experience leading a technical or R&D team. Advanced knowledge of local/international industry trends, standards, and regulations (desirable). Advanced knowledge of systems, server, and storage administration (desirable). Intermediate knowledge of software scripting, security, and administration standards (desirable). Advanced knowledge of local IT policies, standards, and management (essential). Advanced knowledge of technical/network solution development (essential).
