Job Title: Head of Finance & Accounts Location: Victoria Island, Lagos Reports To: Board of Directors Job Type: Full-Time | Hybrid Role Summary The Head of Finance & Accounts will lead the Groups overall financial management, planning, and strategy. This role oversees finance operations across multiple subsidiaries, ensuring strong financial controls, driving performance, and supporting business growth. The ideal candidate will bring solid experience from the telecom and fintech industries with a proven track record in managing complex financial operations. Key Responsibilities · Develop and execute financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support business objectives. · Oversee all finance operations including accounting, reporting, cash flow, and audits. · Ensure compliance with IFRS, FIRS, and other regulatory standards while maintaining strong internal controls. · Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability and excellence. · Liaise with auditors, banks, investors, and regulators; provide insights and recommendations to the Board. · Partner with business leaders on strategic decisions, M&A, and investments to drive financial performance. Qualifications * Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA is a plus). Professional certifications (ICAN, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CFA) are required. * Minimum 5 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. * Prior experience in telecom, enterprise services, or fintech strongly preferred. * Proven ability to manage financial operations in a multi-subsidiary environment.
