Head of Legal

Role Description The Head of Legal at رواد جدة | Jeddah Founders will provide strategic and operational legal guidance on all organizational activities in a part-time, remote capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and drafting contracts and agreements, advising on regulatory and compliance matters, and assessing legal risks associated with business decisions and partnerships. The role involves managing legal processes, coordinating with external counsel when needed, and developing policies and procedures that support sound governance. The Head of Legal will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure that initiatives, programs, and documentation align with applicable laws and organizational standards.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Experience in Legal Compliance, including designing and overseeing compliance frameworks and internal controls.
• Background in Legal Consulting, providing clear, practical advice to leadership and operational teams.
• Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, policies, and formal legal correspondence.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and address complex Legal Issues across commercial, regulatory, and organizational matters.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills, with sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts in accessible language and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Relevant law degree and professional qualification; prior experience as in-house counsel or legal lead in a business or nonprofit setting is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote, part-time environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
