IT Project Manager & Analyst – Site Carve-out

Are you an IT professional based in Europe who combines strong analysis with project management, and are you looking for your next international assignment? One of our clients is separating part of its business, which requires several sites to be fully carved out. We're looking for someone to guide the IT separation of two of these sites, working closely with the business.

You'll become the expert on your sites: you'll know which processes and applications are involved, what the impact of the migration is, and who needs to be involved. That site knowledge feeds directly into the wider carve-out programme, so the overall plan is built on your work on the ground. You'll work at the crossroads of business, applications and infrastructure, and translate business needs into clear IT actions. Please note that this role involves regular travel: expect about 8 weeks onsite, spread over the next 8 to 10 months, especially around key migration periods.

💼 What you'll do

• Become the go-to expert for your two sites: processes, applications, dependencies and owners
• Analyse application impact: local vs. global, dependencies, what can migrate together
• Feed your site insights into the overall programme plan and priorities
• Coordinate maintenance windows, migration timing and cutovers with the business
• Make sure test plans, test environments and production readiness are in place
• Translate business needs into clear actions for the infrastructure teams
• Report progress and escalate issues to the overarching project manager
• Be onsite for about 8 weeks in total, spread over the assignment

🎯 Who you are

Must-haves

• Experience in both IT analysis and IT project management
• Experience with application migrations and their link to infrastructure
• Strong analytical skills: you quickly understand processes, applications and dependencies
• Hands-on and a fast learner
• Comfortable working directly with business stakeholders
• Willing to travel regularly (about 8 weeks onsite over 8 to 10 months)

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with IT carve-outs, separations or large-scale migrations
• Experience with test planning and cutover coordination
• Experience in a large international organisation
