Marketing and Market Access Lead – Middle East

Neuraxpharm is looking for people who want to make a difference and improve patients’ lives within the CNS area. We want individuals who will go the extra mile and make great things happen.

Being part of this team does not mean you are just working for a company, but for a cause!

Neuraxpharm is looking for a Marketing and Market Access Lead based in Dubai (hybrid role)

Your Mission

Lead market access and brand strategy for Neuraxpharm’s innovative CNS portfolio across the Middle East, translating global strategy into local pricing, reimbursement and launch outcomes. This role delivers through cross-functional and partner collaboration, with a focus of approximately 65% market access and 35% marketing.

Your Major Accountabilities

  • Integrated access and brand strategy
  • Own annual and multi-year brand and access plans, translating global direction into country-specific strategies for Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and other priority markets. Define positioning, segmentation, targeting and messaging from HCP, patient-pathway and payer insights, identifying growth opportunities and corrective actions.
  • Pricing
  • Develop pricing recommendations that balance affordability, competitive positioning and business objectives. Manage international reference pricing and launch sequencing across interdependent GCC markets, preparing submissions and business cases with Finance in line with Corporate Market Access Strategy.
  • Reimbursement, formulary and value
  • Secure reimbursement and formulary inclusion across public, institutional and private insurance systems. Adapt payer value propositions, corporate value dossiers and health economic models to local requirements with HEOR agencies, Medical and Corporate teams, and address local evidence gaps with Medical.
  • Payer, institutional and tender access
  • Engage payer, procurement and institutional stakeholders with Medical and Commercial colleagues. Lead tender and contracting strategy, including price-volume scenarios, portfolio implications and performance reviews, using payer insights and access barriers to inform brand and launch plans.
  • Launch and pipeline readiness
  • Lead integrated commercial and access plans for new products and indications, starting payer planning before regulatory approval. Coordinate readiness across Medical, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance and partners, tracking milestones, launch KPIs and post-launch uptake and access to adjust plans.
  • Marketing execution and omnichannel engagement
  • Shape campaigns, scientific and promotional materials, and digital and omnichannel HCP engagement with Medical and Regulatory. Guide congress, advisory board and customer initiatives with the relevant functions, managing agencies and vendors against briefs, budgets, quality and compliance requirements.
  • Field and partner effectiveness
  • Translate strategy into execution through Neuraxpharm’s field force and distributor commercial teams, setting joint objectives and reviewing performance. Provide sales tools, campaign materials and product and access training, and make regular field and account visits to understand customer needs and execution quality.
  • Market intelligence, forecasting and business planning
  • Turn prescribing, competition, pricing, HTA, procurement and policy insights into action. Build and challenge forecasts using explicit access assumptions and base, accelerated and delayed-access scenarios, contributing to budgets, long-range plans, demand planning and investment ROI reviews.
  • Business development
  • Provide commercial and access assessments for licensing, partnership, acquisition and local manufacturing opportunities.
  • Budget and compliance
  • Own approved marketing and access budgets, tracking spend against agreed objectives. Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry codes and company SOPs, keeping promotional and medical activities separate and following required review and approval processes.

We Would Like You To Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, Health Economics, Economics or Business.
  • 10+ years in pharmaceuticals, primarily in market access, pricing and institutional business, with solid brand management experience and at least 5 years in the Middle East.
  • Hands-on experience in regional pricing, reimbursement, formulary listing and public tenders, ideally in Saudi Arabia and the UAE; a proven record of executing brand plans and launching specialty or hospital products in CNS, preferably in Multiple Sclerosis.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills covering forecasts, patient funnels, budgets and P&L, with the ability to translate clinical and economic evidence into payer value propositions.
  • Experience working through distributors and partners and leading through influence, supported by strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Desirable: MBA or MSc in Health Economics, Public Health or a related field; HEOR, budget-impact modelling, value dossiers or HTA experience; exposure to rare diseases, innovative specialty medicines, regional or affiliate start-ups, business development, licensing or local manufacturing.
