We're looking for a Medical Writer who combines scientific expertise, exceptional writing skills and a passion for making complex science clear, accurate and engaging.

This isn't traditional medical writing.

You'll transform clinical trial data, scientific publications and medical evidence into compelling scientific stories designed primarily for healthcare professionals.

We welcome both experienced medical writers and scientifically strong candidates with outstanding writing potential. Your scientific understanding, writing ability and willingness to learn matter more than a specific number of years of experience.

What you'll do

Working closely with our Medical Team Lead, Medical Writers, Project Managers, Designers and Animators, you'll:

• Research, critically evaluate and interpret clinical studies, scientific publications and medical literature
• Develop scientifically accurate, clear and engaging scripts for medical animations, digital medical education and interactive content
• Transform complex clinical data and scientific concepts into compelling narratives tailored to healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with creative teams to translate scientific information into effective visual storytelling and storyboards
• Review scientific content, references and visual materials to ensure accuracy and consistency throughout production
• Incorporate client feedback and participate in scientific discussions with pharmaceutical clients, with guidance appropriate to your experience

You'll receive support and constructive feedback from our experienced medical team, with increasing ownership and responsibility as you develop.

Who we're looking for

Scientific excellence and writing quality come first.

You should have:

• A strong academic background in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, biomedical sciences or a related field. PhD, PharmD or MD preferred.
• Excellent scientific research and literature review skills, including the ability to critically interpret clinical trial data
• Exceptional scientific writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and engagingly
• Strong attention to detail, scientific accuracy and appropriate referencing
• Creativity and an interest in scientific storytelling, visual communication and digital medical education
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently, manage deadlines and respond constructively to feedback

Previous experience in medical writing, medical communications, medical education, Medical Affairs or pharmaceutical communications is a strong advantage, but not essential for candidates with exceptional scientific knowledge and writing ability.

Experience with animation scripts, storyboarding, e-learning or other digital scientific content is particularly valuable.

English requirement

Native-level or CEFR C2 English proficiency is required.

You'll create scientific content for an international professional audience and communicate with pharmaceutical clients and colleagues worldwide. Exceptional written and spoken English is essential.
