Mobile Core Engineering

Job Description This is a remote position. Duration – 6 months autorenew Working Hours - 40 hours/week CEST Timezone +/- 2hours Employment Type - Partner Agreement (B2B) Be part of our Castille Elite Teams! We are currently looking for Senior Core Network Engineering to join the team for one of our clients in the telecommunication sector. Responsibilities Design, maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot clients Networks Verify the interoperability of the core elements with clients different cable modem. Be proactive and make research and recommendations on network products, protocols, services and standards in support of network development and procurement Monitor and test network performance and provide statistics and reports Work closely with the team to develop strategies for maintaining network infrastructure Troubleshoot problems in the network area as needed. Continuously pre-empt potential issues as well as use all opportunities for improvement Liaise with third party suppliers to get required support on new features within core network Provide third level support to customer issues ​Offer availability during out-of-office hours in an on-call rotation system Requirements Degree in Computer Science/Networking related subject Certifications in Networking (CCNA, CCNP) Ability to document troubleshooting steps and new platforms configurations High level of ownership is expected Good to have Previous experience in maintaining/deploying Fiber to the Home (FTTH) technologies will be considered an asset. Setting up servers, maintaining company mobile core networks (GSM, LTE, VoLTE) and development projects in close collaboration with our Voice Development team.
