Partners & Guests Ticketing Manager
Fixed-Term Contract | March 2027 – November 2027
Location: Wentworth, Surrey | Hybrid, typically 2–3 days per week on site
Travel: Approximately 8–9 events during the contract
Who we are:
The European Tour group is one of the world’s pre-eminent golf organisations. We are responsible for running the world-famous DP World Tour, The Staysure Legends Tour and the HotelPlanner Tour. We also organise, alongside the PGA of America, golf’s greatest team contest - the Ryder Cup.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Partners & Guests Ticketing Manager to join our Ticketing Team for the 2027 season.
This is a hands-on role supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of ticket allocations for sponsors, partners and guests across a portfolio of DP World Tour-promoted tournaments, including Rolex Series events.
You’ll work closely with internal teams, commercial partners, agencies, sponsors and external ticketing suppliers to make sure ticket requirements are captured accurately, communicated clearly and delivered effectively.
We’re looking for someone with proven ticketing and major sporting event experience who can hit the ground running. You’ll need to be comfortable managing multiple priorities, responding to last-minute requirements and working in a fast-paced event environment.
The role will primarily support DP World Tour events, with some exposure to activity connected to the Ryder Cup. This position will not be working directly on the Ryder Cup itself.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinate sponsor, partner and guest ticket allocations across DP World Tour-promoted tournaments.
- Work with internal teams to capture contracted and invited ticket requirements and ensure these are accurately recorded.
- Manage the day-to-day administration of multiple ticketing platforms.
- Work with ticketing system suppliers to support platform configuration and event requirements.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams, sponsors, partners, agencies and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate ticketing data and monitor allocations, outstanding requirements and event readiness.
- Provide clear and timely updates to key stakeholders throughout the event lifecycle.
- Manage last-minute ticket requests, changes and fulfilment requirements.
- Support the development and maintenance of clear ticketing processes and operational guidelines.
- Work closely with the Ticketing Managers and Head of Ticketing to provide on-site operational support at tournaments.
- Support the wider Ticketing Team to deliver a professional experience for partners, guests and key stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous professional experience in ticketing, ideally within major sporting events or another large-scale live event environment.
- Experience using and administering ticketing systems or platforms.
- Experience working with partners, sponsors and/or agencies.
- Experience supporting the operational delivery of large-scale sporting events.
- Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with detailed allocation and ticketing data.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Confidence communicating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- A practical, positive and collaborative approach, with the willingness to get involved and work as part of a small team.
- The ability to remain calm, organised and solutions-focused in a busy event environment.
- Flexibility to travel and work weekends and longer event days when required.
- Fluent English. An additional language would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
An interest in golf or sport would be useful, but is not essential.
The Practical Details
- Contract: Fixed-term, March 2027 to November 2027
- Reports to: Head of Ticketing
- Location: Wentworth, Surrey
- Working pattern: Hybrid, with an expectation of approximately 2–3 days per week at Wentworth
- Event travel: Approximately 8–9 events during the contract, including overseas and weekend travel
