Project Engineer / Civil Engineer

Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part-time role responsible for organizing, supporting, and engaging volunteers for SEG-SGA UNLP Student Chapter activities. This hybrid position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a mix of on-site coordination and work-from-home tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include recruiting and onboarding volunteers, scheduling and assigning tasks for events and outreach activities, and maintaining clear communication with all volunteers. The coordinator will design and deliver basic volunteer training, ensure that volunteers understand project goals, and monitor participation and feedback. The role also involves collaborating with chapter leadership on community outreach initiatives, documenting volunteer hours, and preparing brief activity reports.

Qualifications

• Ability to coordinate Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training activities effectively.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills to engage and support diverse volunteers.
• Experience or interest in Community Outreach and student or community engagement projects.
• Organizational and time-management skills suitable for a part-time hybrid role.
• Comfort working in multicultural environments, ideally with experience in academic or non-profit settings.
• Proficiency with basic digital tools (email, spreadsheets, online collaboration platforms).
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are an asset.
• Previous volunteer coordination experience or involvement in student organizations is preferred.
