WHAT YOU'LL OWN

1. Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define the product vision and roadmap for your assigned app(s), aligned with VEGAHUB's retention-focused mission.
• Prioritize features based on merchant feedback, app store data, competitive landscape, and business impact.
• Stay up to date with the Shopify ecosystem, including platform updates, partner policies, and emerging merchant needs.

2. Discovery & Research

• Talk directly to merchants to understand their workflows, pain points, and jobs-to-be-done.
• Analyze app store reviews, support tickets, and usage data to uncover actionable insights.
• Conduct competitive analysis across the Shopify App Store.

3. Execution & Delivery

• Write clear, detailed PRDs and specifications to help engineering teams deliver with confidence.
• Drive sprints end-to-end, including grooming, unblocking, and reviewing — not just handing over requirements.
• QA features before release and own the release process, including app store listing updates.

4. Growth & Performance

• Define and track key success metrics such as activation, retention, MRR, churn, and reviews.
• Collaborate with the growth team on app store optimization (ASO), onboarding flows, and upsell triggers.
• Monitor post-launch performance and continuously iterate to improve results.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Hands-on experience with the Shopify ecosystem, whether as a merchant, developer, or app product manager.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with metrics, cohort data, and make informed decisions even with incomplete data.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams in a lean team.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience launching and managing apps on the Shopify App Store.
• Familiarity with Shopify's Built for Shopify certification requirements.
• Background in customer retention, loyalty, CRM, or helpdesk products.
• Basic technical knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and data models.
