About Oliver James – Brussels

Our Brussels office specialises in IT contract recruitment, partnering with clients across Banking, Insurance, Financial Services, Telecoms and Automotive.

With a team of 25 consultants, the office has an established presence across Belgium, as well as opportunities in Luxembourg and France.

Operating a full 360 recruitment model, consultants take ownership of their markets, managing both business development and candidate delivery.

Our specialist markets include:

• Infrastructure & Cloud
• Cyber Security
• Data & AI
• Engineering
• Applications & Software Development
• Business Change

There are also opportunities to explore and develop new markets, including ERP and CRM.

The Opportunity

We're open to hiring at different levels, with opportunities suited to both junior and experienced recruitment professionals.

Junior Recruitment Consultants

Ideally, you'll have some experience working within a 360 recruitment environment, with an understanding of business development and candidate delivery. You'll initially focus on sourcing and delivering against more junior roles, developing client relationships, generating leads and building market knowledge, with the support and training needed to progress.

Experienced Recruitment Consultants

For those with an established track record, there is an opportunity to take ownership of an existing or developing IT market, leveraging your experience to build client relationships, win new business and grow your own desk.

Above all, we're looking for individuals with strong recruitment fundamentals, a proactive approach and the ambition to succeed.

What We're Looking For

• Experience within recruitment, ideally operating a 360 desk.
• A confident, proactive approach to business development and client acquisition.
• Comfortable picking up the phone, conducting outreach and developing new relationships.
• A commercially minded individual who enjoys working towards KPIs and targets.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to progress.
• Fluent English alongside either French or Dutch.
