This is an exciting opportunity for a South African-based recruiter to work remotely with an established UK client, supporting high-volume recruitment delivery while developing into a future senior or management-level role. This role is focused on delivery and candidate management rather than business development. You will work closely with experienced UK consultants and directors, helping to source, qualify, and manage candidates across multiple live vacancies. The business is looking for someone who is highly motivated, commercially aware, organised, and capable of building strong relationships with candidates and clients alike. The Role As a Recruitment Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting recruitment delivery across the UK construction sector. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging candidates, managing recruitment processes, maintaining candidate pipelines, and ensuring a high-quality experience throughout the hiring journey. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where communication, initiative, attention to detail, and relationship-building are critical to success. Key Responsibilities Support UK-based consultants and directors with recruitment delivery Conduct market mapping and research to identify target candidates and companies Source, headhunt, and engage candidates through calls, LinkedIn, job boards, and networking Screen CVs and assess candidate suitability for live vacancies Manage and maintain candidate pipelines across multiple roles Coordinate interviews and guide candidates through the recruitment process Build long-term relationships with candidates within the UK construction market Maintain accurate CRM and recruitment system records Work toward agreed activity and performance targets Collaborate with the wider team to ensure successful placements and client satisfaction Deliver a professional and consultative candidate experience Requirements What We’re Looking For Essential Experience & Skills Minimum 18 months’ recruitment experience Strong communication skills with confidence speaking to professionals over the phone Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment Self-sufficient and able to work remotely with minimal supervision Strong administrative and communication abilities Positive, proactive, and resilient mindset Team player with a strong willingness to learn and develop Background Experience recruiting within one or more of the following sectors would be highly advantageous: Construction Civil Engineering White-collar construction recruitment Technical or professional services recruitment What Success Looks Like The ideal person will: Be capable of managing candidate conversations confidently and professionally Build credibility quickly with UK-based candidates Demonstrate strong work ethic and consistency Show initiative and accountability while working remotely Contribute positively to team culture and delivery performance Develop into a senior delivery or management role over time Ideal Personality Fit We are looking for someone who is: Ambitious and career-driven Commercially minded Motivated by achievement and progression Confident communicating with people at all levels Adaptable and solutions-oriented Professional, reliable, and accountable Benefits Salary R25 000 - R35 000 per month (based on your current salary/ experience needs to be aligned) Commission is a 200 Pound Bonus per placement Career Development & Progression This role offers a clear long-term progression pathway within an expanding international recruitment business.
