We are a growing international Amazon e-commerce business looking for a detail-oriented Product Research Analyst based in Nigeria.
Your main responsibility will be to find profitable products that can be sourced from Amazon.com and resold through our Amazon marketplaces. This is a research-focused role; you will not be responsible for purchasing products, customer service, or account management.
The right person is analytical, reliable, comfortable working with data, and able to explain clearly why a product is or is not worth purchasing.
Selected candidates will complete a training and practical evaluation period. Successful candidates will receive ongoing monthly compensation and performance-based incentives.
Responsibilities- Research profitable online arbitrage opportunities using Amazon.com and other approved retail sources.
- Use Keepa, SellerAmp, Helium 10, and Google Sheets to analyse potential products.
- Evaluate product demand, sales rank history, price history, Buy Box price, offer count, competition, fees, estimated ROI, and expected profit.
- Identify potential risks, including Amazon restrictions, Hazmat classification, intellectual-property risks, oversized products, low margins, and slow-moving inventory.
- Match products accurately between the source marketplace and the target Amazon marketplace.
- Prepare clear daily product research reports with product links, ASINs, cost, selling price, profit calculations, supporting data, and risk notes.
- Follow our research criteria, training materials, and quality-control process.
- Continuously improve research speed and accuracy based on feedback.
- Strong written English and the ability to understand English video tutorials and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical thinking.
- Comfortable using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Reliable computer, stable internet connection, and availability for regular remote work.
- Experience with Amazon, online arbitrage, Keepa, SellerAmp, Helium 10, or e-commerce product research is preferred but not required.
- Ability to learn quickly, accept feedback, and follow a structured research process.
- Honest, dependable, and able to handle confidential business information responsibly.
Success is not measured by sending a large number of random product links. You will be evaluated on the quality of your research, including:
- Number of genuinely profitable and purchasable product opportunities found.
- Accuracy of profit, ROI, fee, and risk calculations.
- Ability to identify products that should be avoided.
- Consistency, communication, and improvement over time.
Please apply with a short introduction explaining your English level, your experience with Amazon or e-commerce, the tools you have used, and why you believe you would be a strong fit for this role.
