SaaS Finance Manager

Role Description

The SaaS Finance Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Lekki, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for SaaS and recurring revenue streams, ensuring accurate tracking of subscription metrics such as ARR, MRR, churn, and customer lifetime value. The SaaS Finance Manager will manage financial reporting, analyze performance against KPIs, and provide insights to support pricing strategies, cost optimization, and investment decisions. Day-to-day tasks include preparing management reports and dashboards, collaborating with sales, operations, and technology teams on revenue recognition and contract terms, and maintaining strong financial controls and compliance with relevant standards. The role also supports strategic initiatives such as new product launches, financial modeling for business cases, and continuous improvement of finance processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong financial management and analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, and LTV.
• Experience with subscription-based business models, revenue recognition for SaaS, and financial reporting for recurring revenue streams.
• Proficiency in financial tools and systems (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets at an advanced level, accounting/ERP software, BI or dashboard tools).
• Solid understanding of IT, cloud, and technology services environments, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial insights clearly to leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) are an advantage.
• Proven experience in a finance role within a SaaS, technology, or services company; experience in IT consulting or managed services is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a data-driven mindset, with comfort working in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
