Role Description The Safety Compliance Specialist is a part-time remote role responsible for supporting health, safety, and compliance initiatives within SecureTech Daily’s operations and content practices. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing internal processes and guidelines for alignment with health and safety standards, documenting safety procedures, and advising on best practices related to occupational health and environment health and safety (EHS). The specialist will conduct virtual safety training sessions, contribute to educational materials on safety topics for internal and external audiences, and assist in investigating any reported incidents or near misses, preparing clear findings and recommendations. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure safety considerations are integrated into remote work practices, digital content, and applicable policies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Occupational Health knowledge applicable to remote and digital work environments.
- Candidates should possess Environment Health and Safety (EHS) skills, including familiarity with regulatory frameworks and risk assessment practices.
- Candidates should possess Safety Training skills, including the ability to design and deliver clear, engaging training materials and sessions.
- Candidates should possess Accident Investigation skills, including incident analysis, root cause identification, and documentation of corrective actions.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or certification in occupational health and safety, EHS, risk management, or a related field are beneficial.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to translate safety concepts into practical guidance.
- Experience working in remote or distributed teams, with proficiency in using digital collaboration tools and maintaining organized records.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity or technology environments is a plus, along with a commitment to continuous learning in both safety and tech domains.
