About your team
Our BE office is based in Londerzeel and is home to over 100 enthusiastic professionals, including our Belgian Sales & Marketing Department and Global Departments like Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain. The Belgian Sales & Marketing team, which will you be a part of, consists of 16 colleagues, focusing on commercial, technical, marketing and customer service activities.
Everyone is passionate about making a difference in the crop protection sector. At Certis Belchim, our expertise in providing high-value, specialty crop protection solutions tailored to our customers' needs across the agricultural industry sets us apart.
We pride ourselves on being down to earth in everything we do, being practical, approachable and grounded in real customer needs. Communication is characterised by openness and directness, with short lines and a strong sense of mutual support. We support one another when needed and work together in a collaborative and respectful environment where integrity, initiative and commitment are genuinely valued.
Due to internal development, we are now looking to recruit a Sales & Marketing Officer to support the Belgian Sales & Marketing Team. You will work closely with colleagues from various departments and play a key role in the day-to-day running of the team.
About your job
As a Sales & Marketing Officer you will provide all-round administrative and organisational support to our Belgian Sales & Marketing Team. You will play an important role in keeping processes, budgets, databases and practical activities well organised and up to date.
This is a varied role in which accuracy and structure are essential. One moment, you may be checking an invoice against a purchase order or updating a budget overview. The next, you may be carefully reviewing a product label or helping to organise an event.
If you enjoy bringing structure to a broad range of activities, supporting colleagues and combining administrative accuracy with practical organisation, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Creating purchase order numbers and supporting the administrative processing of orders.
Reviewing and approving incoming invoices by checking them against the corresponding purchase orders.
Maintaining a clear overview of purchase orders, committed expenditure, outstanding amounts, and available budgets.
Carefully review product labels and support their accurate preparation and layout.
Monitoring general e-mail inboxes and answering or forwarding incoming questions to the appropriate colleague.
Keeping CRM data accurate, complete, and up to date.
Providing administrative and practical support for commercial activities, including frequent sales reports and the preparation, printing and distribution of commercial mailings and price lists.
Order promotional items, gadgets, and other marketing materials.
Providing logistical and organizational support for trade fairs, meetings and events.
Support organizing of Trial Field Days by coordinating invitations and registrations and maintaining an accurate overview of participant numbers.
Following up memberships and subscriptions and keeping contact details current.
Providing flexible, all-round administrative support wherever needed within the wider team.
About you
At Certis Belchim, we believe that great teams are built by people who are dependable, collaborative and willing to take responsibility. We are looking for someone who enjoys supporting others and takes pride in delivering accurate, well-organised work.
You are structured, precise and attentive to detail, particularly when working with invoices, budgets and product labels. You can independently organise your workload and determine priorities based on urgency and importance. At the same time, you communicate openly and raise potential difficulties in good time.
You have a hands-on attitude and do not wait for every task to be assigned. You notice what needs to be done and are willing to help with both recurring administrative processes and practical, ad hoc requests.
You hold a bachelor’s degree or have reached an equivalent level through relevant professional experience.
Previous experience in an administrative or support role is an advantage, although your accuracy, attitude and organisational skills are more important than a specific educational background.
You work in a structured and precise way and have a strong eye for detail.
You are able to plan your own workload, set priorities and adapt when circumstances change.
You are proactive and notice what needs to be done without always waiting for detailed instructions.
You are comfortable contacting external partners, requesting information and checking quotations or practical arrangements.
You have a good command of both Dutch and French.
You are comfortable working with common Microsoft Office applications and are willing to learn the other systems used within the organisation.
You enjoy variety and are willing to provide practical support across different activities and teams.
You bring a positive, reliable and hands-on attitude to your work.
