SALES SPECIALIST PORTABLE ANALYTICAL INSTRUMENTATION About the Company SciAps is establishing a network of global sales and service centres in key markets including a location in Perth, Western Australia and Sydney in NSW. SciAps, is a Boston-based instrumentation company specializing in portable analytical instruments to measure any element, any place on the planet. Our industry-leading X-ray fluorescence (XRF), laser-based (LIBS) and Vis-NIR-SWIR analysers are at work across every major industry, including oil/gas, metals and mining, aerospace, battery and strategic metals (lithium, rare-earth elements), scrap metal recycling, chemical and petrochemical, military, forensics and law enforcement. About the Role Permanent Role. Office Based. AUD70-100k P.A plus 11% Super dependant on experience and qualifications. Also includes performance based commision program additional to base salary. Report to Australia Sales Manager, SciAps Inc Highly Desirable Skills : University degree or similar in Geology, Earth or Environmental Science, Physics, Chemistry, Plant Science, Metallurgy, and/or relevant work/trade experience. Previous experience working in sales preferable but not essential. Self Starter-able to work independently Must be prepared to travel Interstate and potentially overseas Hold appropriate licences for working with X-Ray and Laser devices would be desirable but not essential Customer service experience High degree of familiarity with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint etc. Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM software desirable Australian citizen or permanent resident.
