Role Description The SAP BCS Consultant will work in a full-time, hybrid role based in WP Kuala Lumpur, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. Daily responsibilities include designing, configuring, and maintaining SAP BCS solutions to support consolidation, reporting, and compliance needs. The role involves analyzing business processes, gathering requirements from stakeholders, and translating them into effective system designs and documentation. The consultant will manage master data and integration points with other SAP and non-SAP systems, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth end-to-end processes. The role also includes providing consulting support, conducting user training, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance data quality, reporting accuracy, and system performance.
Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret business requirements, financial data, and system performance metrics.
• Consulting experience, including stakeholder engagement, requirement gathering, solution design, and presentation of recommendations.
• Understanding of Business Process design and optimization, particularly in finance, consolidation, and reporting workflows.
• Experience with Master Data management in SAP, including setup, governance, and maintenance of consolidation-related data.
• Knowledge of system Integration, especially between SAP BCS and other SAP modules or external applications.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BCS or related SAP consolidation tools (e.g., SEM-BCS, Group Reporting) is highly preferred.
• Background in finance, accounting, or IT with familiarity in group reporting, IFRS/GAAP, and consolidation concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively in hybrid settings, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
