- Assess equipment performance reports against manufacturer specifications, applicable technical standards, and institutional acceptance criteria.
- Examine calibration certificates, maintenance records, service reports, and equipment history documentation for completeness and traceability.
- Review audiometric equipment verification data to identify deviations, inconsistent measurements, and potential performance concerns.
- Analyse trends in equipment performance, calibration results, recurring faults, and service interruptions.
- Evaluate documentation relating to routine equipment checks, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and post-repair verification.
- Support the development and maintenance of equipment verification schedules, technical checklists, and quality assurance procedures.
- Review equipment inventory records, serial numbers, configuration details, software versions, and manufacturer documentation.
- Assess whether verification records demonstrate appropriate traceability to recognised measurement standards.

- Maintain digital equipment verification registers, calibration trackers, exception logs, and supporting evidence repositories.
- Prepare technical assessment reports highlighting equipment status, verification findings, documentation gaps, and recommended follow-up actions.
- Monitor overdue calibration activities, unresolved technical findings, and outstanding maintenance documentation.
- Review equipment-related incident reports and analyse possible relationships between device performance and reported measurement irregularities.
- Support internal quality audits and external assessment preparation by organising equipment verification evidence.
- Recommend improvements to equipment documentation controls, verification workflows, and maintenance monitoring processes.
- Coordinate virtual technical review meetings with audiology departments, healthcare administrators, and biomedical engineering personnel.
- Monitor relevant updates to audiology equipment standards, manufacturer requirements, and medical device quality guidance.
- Provide remote guidance on documentation requirements and equipment verification processes without performing physical technical interventions.
- Bachelor's degree in Audiology, Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Medical Physics, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A postgraduate qualification in Audiology, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Device Technology, or Quality Management is an advantage.
- Significant experience in audiology equipment management, biomedical engineering, medical device quality assurance, equipment verification, or technical compliance.
- Strong understanding of audiological diagnostic equipment, including audiometers, tympanometers, OAE systems, and auditory evoked potential equipment.
- Knowledge of equipment calibration principles, verification procedures, measurement accuracy, and performance tolerances.
- Familiarity with relevant IEC standards and applicable medical device quality and safety requirements.
- Understanding of audiometric measurement principles, reference levels, transducers, acoustic testing, and equipment configuration.
- Experience reviewing calibration certificates, technical service reports, equipment maintenance records, and verification results.
- Ability to interpret equipment performance data and identify deviations from approved specifications.
- Familiarity with biomedical equipment management systems, digital maintenance records, and asset tracking platforms.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, document control, corrective action processes, and audit preparation.
- Understanding of measurement traceability and the importance of appropriately calibrated reference equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in evaluating technical records and performance trends.
- Excellent technical writing and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to coordinate with audiologists, biomedical engineers, manufacturers, and authorised service providers.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail when managing equipment records and verification schedules.
