Senior Construction Planner

Role Description The Senior Construction Planner role at Ataves CRO is a part-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The role involves developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating timelines with project stakeholders, and ensuring that construction milestones are planned and tracked effectively. The Senior Construction Planner will support project control activities, monitor progress against plans, identify variances, and propose corrective actions to keep projects on schedule and within scope. This position includes collaborating with procurement teams to align material and equipment deliveries with construction timelines, preparing planning reports and forecasts, and contributing to risk assessments and mitigation strategies. The role requires regular communication with project managers, site teams, and external partners to ensure clear planning documentation and efficient execution of construction activities.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Construction Planning and Project Planning to develop, manage, and optimize detailed project schedules.
• Candidates should possess skills in Project Control to monitor progress, manage changes, and report on schedule performance and risks.
• Candidates should possess skills in Procurement to coordinate material, equipment, and service delivery in alignment with construction plans.
• Candidates should possess skills in Construction to understand site activities, sequencing, and practical constraints impacting the project schedule.
• Relevant experience in planning roles within construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in the Middle East region.
• Proficiency with scheduling and planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; advanced certifications in project planning or project management are an advantage.
