About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Expert Global Accounting & Consolidation to join our team in Oradea.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of IFRS accounting, consolidation, financial analysis, and controlling, supporting business units and subsidiaries across our international organization.

You will act as a trusted point of contact for complex accounting and valuation topics, contribute to consolidated financial reporting, and help continuously improve our closing processes, internal controls, and financial standards.

You’re a Great Fit If You:

• Hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on accounting according to IFRS and HGB.
• Bring 3–5 years of professional experience in IFRS accounting, consolidation, or controlling, preferably within an international group or an auditing firm.
• Have solid knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Have strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with complex financial information.
• Work in a structured, accurate, and independent way while maintaining a strong focus on quality.
• Communicate effectively and enjoy collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders across functions and countries.
• Have a very good command of English.
• Are open to occasional international business travel.
  

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of SAP FI, EC-PCA, and SEM-BCS.
• German language skills.
• Previous experience working within an international corporate environment.
  

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Act as a central point of contact for business units and subsidiaries on complex accounting and valuation-related matters.
• Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements of international entities and translate your findings into actionable recommendations.
• Contribute to the preparation of consolidated subgroup financial statements in SEM-BCS in accordance with IFRS.
• Support external IFRS reporting and help ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Support the implementation of IFRS standards across global locations and contribute to consistent accounting practices throughout the organization.
• Drive the continuous improvement of closing processes and the internal control system, while supporting the introduction of new business management procedures.
• Analyze performance and costs as part of periodic planning, determine relevant KPIs, and identify variances between target and actual results.
• Conduct profitability analyses, assess the financial impact of planned measures, and develop recommendations to improve efficiency.
• Facilitate and coordinate change management processes and support the implementation of new standards, processes, and systems.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Controlling, and other stakeholders across international Eberspächer entities.
  

Working model:

Hybrid working model – combining on-site collaboration with the flexibility of remote work.

You will work 3 days per week on-site at our Oradea location, with the possibility to work remotely for 2 days per week.
