  • Monitor valuation movements across investment portfolios and investigate unusual or unexplained changes.
  • Coordinate with fund administrators and finance teams to ensure valuation information is reflected consistently in fund reporting and NAV processes.
  • Maintain organized valuation records, model documentation, source data, review comments, and approval histories.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing valuation evidence, model explanations, and relevant supporting documentation.
  • Monitor developments in relevant accounting standards and valuation guidance, including applicable fair value measurement requirements.

  • A professional qualification such as CFA, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent investment or accounting credential is an advantage.
  • Significant experience in private equity valuation, investment analysis, transaction advisory, fund valuation, or financial modeling.
  • Strong understanding of private equity investment structures, fund economics, portfolio company financial analysis, and fair value principles.
  • Practical experience with discounted cash flow models, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and other valuation methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial statements, management forecasts, business plans, and investment performance data.
  • Knowledge of valuation considerations for minority investments, control investments, illiquid securities, and structured equity instruments.
  • Familiarity with fair value measurement principles, including relevant IFRS or US GAAP requirements.
  • Experience preparing valuation reports, investment memoranda, sensitivity analyses, and supporting documentation.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with valuation databases and investment management platforms is desirable.
