Software Development Project Manager: Medical Administration / Healthcare Sector

2Cana Solutions is seeking an experienced Software Development Project Manager with a proven track record delivering projects within the medical administration, medical aid, managed healthcare, health insurance, or healthcare technology sectors. The successful candidate will manage software development projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring delivery against scope, budget, quality, and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple software development projects across the full SDLC.
• Lead project planning, governance, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
• Manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and project deliverables.
• Coordinate development, testing, deployment, and implementation activities.
• Provide regular status reporting to clients and executive stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' Project Management experience.
• Proven experience managing software development projects.
• Experience in the medical administration, healthcare, medical aid, or health insurance industry is essential.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Relevant Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) advantageous
