Strategic Sourcing Manager

Role Description The Strategic Sourcing Manager is a part-time hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility to perform some responsibilities from home. This role involves developing and executing sourcing strategies to ensure reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality supply of goods and services needed by the practice. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with operational requirements. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will analyze spend data, monitor supplier performance, and support risk mitigation plans across the supply base. The role also includes contributing to policy development, process optimization, and documentation to maintain compliance and transparency in procurement activities.

• Candidates should possess skills in supplier evaluation and supplier development to assess capabilities, drive improvements, and support a resilient supply base.
• Candidates should possess skills in supplier management and procurement to oversee ongoing relationships, manage orders, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Candidates should possess skills in contract negotiation to secure favorable terms, manage renewals, and maintain compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
• Relevant experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain management, or procurement within healthcare or a similarly regulated environment is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, along with proficiency in basic procurement or ERP systems, are preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is advantageous.
