Build practical finance experience while contributing to an international engineering consultancy.

About the position

At DIS/CREADIS, you will become part of a professional and international finance organization. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and gain insight into how reliable accounting, clear reporting, and high-quality financial data support decision-making across the business.

The position is based at our office in Stilling near Aarhus. We expect you to work from the office at least once a week, while remote work is also possible. The role is approximately 10 to 20 hours per week and can be adjusted around your studies and exam periods. Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and the position will begin shortly after the right candidate has been identified.

What will you be doing?

As our Student Assistant, you will become an integrated part of the Finance Team and gain hands-on experience within accounting, financial reporting, and controlling. You will support colleagues across the finance organization and contribute to activities that provide a broad understanding of how a modern finance function operates.

Your responsibilities will develop with your experience and may typically include:

  • Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Assisting with account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
  • Maintaining financial master data and helping ensure strong data quality across systems.
  • Supporting monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analyses.
  • Assisting with audit preparations and documentation requests.
  • Contributing to process improvements, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.

In addition to these core tasks, you will have the opportunity to support analyses of revenue, costs, profitability, and working capital.

You may also participate in projects focused on improving finance processes, reporting structures, and digital capabilities. Depending on your interests and qualifications, this can include work related to Power BI, ERP development, reporting automation, and financial modelling. The role therefore provides exposure to both operational accounting and more analytical finance disciplines.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a curious and ambitious student with a genuine interest in accounting, finance, and business operations. You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, cand.merc.aud., Financial Controller, or a similar field, and you are motivated to complement your studies with practical experience.

You enjoy working with numbers and data and take pride in delivering accurate and well-structured work. You approach your responsibilities with attention to detail, take ownership of your tasks, and are comfortable asking questions when something is unclear. At the same time, you are proactive, service-minded, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues across different functions and countries.

As we operate in an international environment, you should also be comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing.

What do we offer?

We offer an opportunity to gain practical experience within accounting, reporting and controlling while continuing your studies. You will work alongside experienced finance professionals who will support your development and give you increasing responsibility as your capabilities grow.

The position provides a strong foundation for a future career within auditing, accounting, controlling or finance business partnering.

You will gain insight into financial processes, systems, and decision-support activities in an international organization, while becoming part of a collaborative environment characterised by professionalism, knowledge sharing, flexibility, and a strong company culture.
