Sustainability Consultan

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Sustainability Consultant at Arab World Equipment Co. The Sustainability Consultant will assess environmental and social impacts of the company’s road, culvert, retaining wall, and water and sewage projects, and recommend strategies to enhance sustainability performance. Day-to-day tasks include conducting data-driven analyses of project activities, developing sustainability frameworks, preparing sustainability reports aligned with relevant standards, and advising project teams on sustainable development practices. The role also involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to integrate sustainability into project planning, supporting compliance with environmental regulations, and identifying opportunities for resource efficiency and reduced environmental footprint.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Sustainability Consulting and Consulting, with experience advising organizations on sustainability initiatives in construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate project impacts, interpret data, and develop evidence-based sustainability recommendations.
• Candidates should possess skills in Sustainability Reporting, including the ability to prepare clear, structured reports aligned with recognized frameworks and stakeholder expectations.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Sustainable Development principles and their application to civil works, water and sewage systems, and related infrastructure projects.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field are preferred.
• Experience with environmental regulations, ESG frameworks, or infrastructure project lifecycle is beneficial.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional certifications in sustainability or environmental management (e.g., LEED, ISO 14001 familiarity) are an advantage.
