We are looking for a Technical System Analyst to join a banking project within an SME Tribe, contributing to digital products for small and medium-sized enterprises.

About the Project

You will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of digital banking solutions, including:

• Mobile and web banking applications for SME customers.
• Digital onboarding.
• Lending infrastructure and digital business loans.
• Digital banking services and innovation initiatives.

Working alongside business stakeholders, developers, testers, DevOps engineers, and solution architects, you will support the full application lifecycle, from discovery and requirements analysis to delivery and production support.

Work model: Hybrid — 2 days per week in the office in Bucharest. Available on B2B.

Responsibilities

• Gather, clarify, and challenge business requirements to identify suitable IT solutions.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications.
• Prepare effort estimates for analysis activities.
• Participate in solution design, requirements workshops, and Agile ceremonies.
• Assess the feasibility, benefits, risks, and impact of proposed changes on existing systems.
• Collaborate with solution architects on system dependencies, integrations, and architectural decisions.
• Analyze and specify Java-based applications, considering performance, scalability, low latency, and high availability.
• Support developers, testers, and DevOps engineers throughout implementation and delivery.
• Perform sanity testing and support the validation of mobile and web applications.
• Provide L3 post-implementation support, investigating production issues and assessing their impact.
• Maintain clear documentation and contribute to continuous improvements in delivery processes.

Tools / Software Knowledge & Competencies

Required:

• At least 3 years of hands-on technology experience.
• Significant experience in functional design and requirements documentation within Agile environments.
• Basic SQL and database programming skills, preferably with MariaDB or PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of API integrations, JMS, and Kafka, including integration concepts and consuming services.
• Understanding of integration patterns, message queues, web services, and database interactions.
• Basic experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Ability to create and interpret UML diagrams.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Windows/Linux environments.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to AWS and Java microservices.
• Experience with digital services and multichannel applications.
• Banking or financial services experience.
• Familiarity with Oracle, IBM DB2, or NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and MongoDB.
• Experience with Android Studio or other mobile testing tools.
• Familiarity with change management and defect tracking processes.
