About the Role
Join a small engineering team at an early-stage AI company building an agent platform that automates enterprise procurement. You will help develop core systems that work with fragmented enterprise data and shape the platform as it scales.
What You'll Do
Learn the codebase, business, and customer needs to identify and solve high-value problems.
Work across the stack, from infrastructure and backend systems to frontend debugging and UI improvements.
Speak directly with enterprise customers to understand procurement challenges and translate findings into product improvements.
Design and own AI agent systems that operate over complex enterprise data, primarily using Python.
Collaborate with engineering leadership and teammates on the platform's architecture and development.
What We're Looking For
Three to seven years of software engineering experience, with a strong individual-contributor focus.
Production experience across the full stack, including infrastructure and user interfaces, plus core systems engineering experience.
Deep Python experience, or proficiency in another language and the ability to ramp up quickly.
Experience building distributed systems or data pipelines; familiarity with AI agents, LLMs, graph traversal and indexing, knowledge graphs, multi-tenant systems, or workflow automation is relevant.
Curiosity and initiative in identifying valuable problems, along with strong collaboration and communication skills.
Experience in procurement, supply chain, or technology serving industrial businesses is a plus. Founder or founding engineer experience is also relevant.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is $200,000 to $350,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
On-site, five days per week in San Francisco, California, United States.
